Congrats to Charles Sim!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Congrats to Charles Sim!

Post by RJ »

I know some of FH could care less about tournament fishing but this is a pretty big deal for a local guy. This past weekend in Connecticut Charles Sim won his division to make the leap to the next stage of making his way to the Bassmaster Classic. Yes, that Classic. The SuperBowl of Bass Fishing.

He heads to Louisiana in November to fish against 8 other boats in his division to represent the North East. Ya, a 1 in 9 shot to go. That is awesome.

Congrats Charlie, truly one of the good guys in the fancy shirts that gives back to the game.

That truly is awesome. I am amazed at how low the weights were. I don't think I could deal with that and it makes me thankful for the fisheries we have here.

Way to persevere Charles .. that was some tough fishing down there. Also .. big ups (not sure if people still say that) to Dave Drury for letting Charles use his boat for the tournament as Charles had some boat issues just prior to the Renegade Classic which left him boat-less .. a great story all around!

Good luck in November Charles.
