This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I might be able to fish this....I need to clean something on my calendar fist. if I make it, I will have an open seat. Probably launch out of Rockland. Petrie closes too early. Is the launch free at Rockland again this year?

Yes, free launch in Rockland Mick. I think I can make it Shawn. My parents have the kids for the week.

How many boats ya got coming Shawn?

I have the afternoon off, and will get an answer from Matt tonight regarding clinching a spot for this weekends MS Bassin' tournament on the Rideau. Never fished the Rideau for bass  and may want to pre-fish for that instead though I have made the commitment to fish the Ottawa :D Trying to decide what to do :?:

Shawn - where is Masson? I hope to make it out with one of my boys, but have no idea where Masson is. Also - it will be PITCH black by 9 pm. Sun is going down much earlier these days!

Masson-Angers is across the river from Cumberland. The launch is immediately west of where the ferry docks on the QC side. I agree about the time. By 8:30pm it's almost pitch dark. I'll be running in from Rockland, as I suspect others will be doing. That run in the dark even with a good gps is a little nerve wracking, especially with the debris that might be in the River after this rain. Would you consider a 6pm - 8:30 tourney Shawn?

Yes 8:30 finish works.

I'll be launching from Quigley and I'll drive over to Masson to pick up my angler and meet everyone.
Should be a nice day.

I'm expecting about 5 to 6 boats.
