MS Bassin 2015

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Unless you're literally fishing next to another boat, remember it's you vs the fish..

Poof,

Although I doubt I am one of the guys you are nervous about I will shed some light. Don't be nervous. There is no need to be. It's an event to raise funds for a great charity. Secondly, we are all there to have a good time with some friendly competition. Use this tournament as a way to gauge your skills and not to see what the other guys can do.

I've come in 28th for the last two tournaments and I fish this river a lot. Sometimes I have done better than a lot of people I have expected to do really well and other times I haven't. It doesn't deter me, it just shows that I need to up my game next time as well as give me a push to become a better angler. Talk to the guys you look up to afterwards as well. Everyone there knows a thing or two about fishing and most are more than willing to discuss what they did. Take that info back with you and see what you could have done differently.

The most important part of this tournament is to have fun, raise some money and meet some new people who share a common passion.

Looking forward to meeting you,

Adam

I am extaic with the buzz around the event, and like Adam said his wife gets more and more sponsors . But let's not forget the ones that got us here. They have always been very generous with the donations, and most fish the event too. This year we will have a great line up on the auction table, from lowrance electronics to a box at a Sens home game. And everything in between.
Cheers,
Matt

How long is the waiting list right now Matt? Is a deposit required?

Two weeks before the event and sold out. Just awesome!

I've never fished the Rideau River for bass. I think Len and I caught a few at Mr J's Toothy Critter derby many years ago but that's about it lol.

I'll put a case a beer on it, delivered to your door young man, when the day comes team 28 will be behind just like the last 3 WNTs

The art of deception is one to master!
I really enjoyed fishing with you and Justin that Wednesday night.
I’m just not sure which spot we’ll be hitting up first come Saturday, decisions, decisions :o ;)

I’ll talk it over with my partner, but it will most likely be Corona, I’ll get back to you soon! :D
