Your Favorite All-Time Smallmouth Bait/Lure

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Spinnerbaits. Second place is worm (live) under a bobber when my kids are fishing for panfish. When that bobber vanishes at high speed and they have light tackle... No better thrill for everyone!

I should mention that I would say spinnerbaits for largemouth, pike and early-season walleye so it probably doesn't count as a vote! :D

Tubejigs, dropshotting, and I love the feeling when a smallie hammers one of my favorite cranks. 8)

Shallow Invader for when they are on the feed in the fall.
You might catch a muskie on that too.

Live target popping frog and 4" Lunkerhunt tubes are fun too. :)

Nothing better than top water with a pop r, but I find the tube jig brings them out.

Id say theres nothing quite like a naggresive smallie slamming a spinnerbait. But its a tie for me with a Sammy 105 topwater ...

Tubes, dropshot, senko....meh boring....thats for when the bite gets tough and those aggressive fish arent easy to come by

A few years ago I would say a green pumpkin tube, but the last few years I've been getting quite a few on a white swimbait, They seem to hammer it

My fave method is chuckin a white 1/2oz double willow spinnerbait on shallow flats and shoals. It's a great way to cover water and they absolutely crush it! Dropshotting small plastics produces just fine too but it's boring as fawk lol.
I got 99 problems but a fish ain't one...

Slow rolling a White Northam Colorado spinnerbait on wind swept shoals or sandbars.........Hand on tight, fishing rod might get pulled out of your hands !!
