Closing out Quinte with a Bang and a Borat!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Post by i got worms »

Closing out walleye season up in Quinte country with the fellas has become an annual tradition that we look forward to all year.

As usual it helps to be mobile and this years heap of snow was no prob for the Riverdog Express snow machine...

I need to get me one of those borat Ice fishing suits next year! I was a little worried after reading the boards about how slow the bite was...The hot lure for me was PK flutter spoon.
That's Quinte for you bud...lol

Wtg guys. That is one amazing fishery, specially when they're on. Only fished there once. Out of two cabins full of guys we caught one fish. Apparently there was a hot lure that weekend but the local CTC got cleaned out quick lol.

Cheers

As always these guys produce gold! I always thought it was bad luck to bring bananas fishin? I guess banana hammocks don't count haha?

Guess it's more of an open water superstition haha. Good laugh and great fish thanks for sharing gents.

Lol it's always a blast fishin with these lads and there was no shortage of goofballin this year. Wish I had footage of RD and WJ hittin a drift a bit too fast on the sled lol.

On a side note, better check your local CTC for the 4" Gold Wabler before they get cleared out! :D
