shirleys bay ramp

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

The water that was built up at the bottom of the ramp last week is now all frozen and no problem driving on. I don't think you would have any issues driving anywhere out there right now. Enjoy

Got out for a fish grabbed a couple. The bottom of the ramp was frozen but the road going straight was pretty rough . Good set of tires is handy wouldn't try it with a car .

What's it like if you get off the road and want to head further out. Would a 4x4 truck manage?

My kids love to skate and fish - With the freeze-thaws, are there any large patches of relatively flat ice at Shirleys, or is it all just hard crusty stuff???
