Clay Bank - Madawaska River - Update

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Signed!

Hey, at least it's just a trailer park and not something much worse (think asphalt plant in Jessup's Falls).

Well will wonders never cease. The change.org petition got 634 supporters and it surely must have helped.

Apr 23, 2015 — "The township is not interested in leasing Clay Bank Park and is therefore not interested in moving forward with this proposal." Thank you everyone for helping SAVE CLAY BANK PARK !

Goes to show that public pressure can work sometimes. Great news for the headpond.

Everyone dances as the latest fishing friendly development dies.

Pretty much at the same time that the local bait & tackle shop closes down.

Careful what you wish for, you just might get it!
NIMBY includes all...

Can't agree with you there Michael. I don't see how an RV park on a small waterway would be fishing friendly. Sounds more like ski boats and jet skis to me.
It also had absolutely nothing to do with Terry closing his doors.
The locals have spoken and the municipality listened. All good in my opinion.
