All good tips, great community here. I might go out one of these nights and try stickbaits and grubs as suggested. I'll work the Ottawa River. I have found the Rideau River tough going this fall.
Reboot, Oziles does sell minnows. I have bought from them in November before. Haven't this year though (yet), but I intend to try to get some from them again. Usually I trap my own with the old trap/bread combo but I just can't be bothered to try this late in the year. Good luck and keep at it. Persistence pays rewards!
