Had a blast yesterday. Was cold and wet, yes, but it's October boys. caught lots of fish, just not a cheque worthy one. Hats off to RJ and Birdee for running the event. I'll be back next year.

Super event! Very well run RJ. We caught lots of fish too but nothing cheque worthy. I'll be back next year.

Great event RJ and Birdee. In general I don't think that tournament organizers get enough credit as we only see what goes on during the day of the tournament and not the endless hours that seem to be required in order to host a successful event. Everyone I talked to said they'd be back next year and that pretty much says it all.

A great day of fishing on a typical October day .. a little rain, some wind and October temperatures.

The homemade sausages were a great after-event snack ... I thought I'd have to find my own way home as I could pry Bobby J away from the BBQ table!
