walleye in Lac poisson Blanc

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

No more walleyes in the Poisson Blanc. Muskies ate them all. 8)

No monster walleye on the QC side that I am aware of. Baskatong USED to be good, even the Goin... but now all I have caught are dink-ish ones. You can still get numbers out of the Goin and anywhere in the Gatineau River system. but don't have a taxidermist on standby!

There ARE a few lakes that have GOOD walleye in them in the area, but Quebecers keep a tight lid on them much like our Ontario brethren guard the identity of some of their Trout lakes!

Thanks Craig I appreciate it. Hard to get good info but it makes sense that no one wants to give up their fishing holes

Perch? What is that? Isn't that where a bird sits?

;-)

Ice fishing lakes around 31 Mile ALWAYS yielded a bunch of those annoying little things! I am told that they are big for their species.
