BOVT PICTURES!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Isn't 17.5" more like 44.5 CM?

I will have the list of current leaders up by end of day today. Was sort of waiting for a few more entries but I better get something up for all to see.

Cheers

Well it looks like an amazing spot to fish anyway Eric. Keep it up and he will be rewarded. Also it will be good to get him a new rod and reel combo so at the end of this he will have a great set up to catch the big ones with.

Better than a Diego Rescue Pack fishing rod combo? I'll look, but I doubt I'll find better. ;-)

No no..I meant he will have one after this tourney as a great organization has donated a new rod and reel combo to every child that is participating. As for the Deigo rod..my son prefers Lightning McQueen!! lol

My oldest started on the same Diego rod :D It works but I would suggest re-spooling with some decent line. You never know what's going to take your bait. I don't recall losing any fish with his Diego rod but his 2 year old brother got an angry birds fishing rod for his bday last month and I didn't respool. As luck would have it, a monster carp took his line last weekend and not one of our decent setups. I almost had it in the boat but the fish got it's third wind as I pulled it alongside, it headed under the boat and it snapped the line.

Anyway, on to the bass pics. I don't get to fish much tending to a 5 and 2 year old so I may not get an entry this month but my son pulled this one in last weekend. His number is on the tape measure. I didn't line him up that well on the tape either. I've got to find a better way, I'm the only one on board who will touch a fish so it's tough getting the pics

I'm not sure I agree with the tape measurement Jason. Not sure if you are making it shorter cause his fish is bigger than any you have got but it looks like the snout of the bass is about 1/2" off the tape. It shows 32cm but I almost have to give it 33cm.

What do others think??
