bit of a spring catch up

Have spent a ton of time in the old tin can this year already
most of my time since walleye and pike opener have been horsing around with pike with my bro and some other buddies.
lots of fish caught and all on top water can get anyone hooked on fishing so whats what I have been doing

had a couple nice hours out on the river for gar as well
having a hard time keeping the big ones pinned and to the boat for pics but heres a couple

just this weekend mickey and i headed into the bush for some brookies. it was a GREAT SUCCESS catching my biggest in a stream as well my pb in general

Am I ever jealous of that trout you caught in that stream! I have spent hours upon hours trudging through the backwoods, looking for creeks and streams like that. Found a few, but nothing that size!

Good for you man - trout fishing is an art, one you seem to have mastered.

Nice fish.... nice specks! Did you troll a worm and spinner for those or were they caught casting? I do love catching them casting a shoreline and their ambush strike out from a fallen tree...good times...
