well it just so happened after a couple hours a bar vapor trails to my jig and smashes it
set the hook and off she goes on a tear
a couple of 10 stressful minutes she slides up the hole
SICK happy as a pig in $HIT my days made lets go home...
so we did and i had a nap....
not! so i took a breather dropped my jig and began to rip it again... about an hour later
BONK!
another long suspenseful gut wrenching fight with 2 foot rod moving head shakes and 50 foot runs that lasted up to 15 minutes RJ leans over tells me not to look in the hole or id puke then proceeds to pull this thing up the hole
after that i was done... game over
took me 10-15 minutes of walking around in circles taking deep breaths and blabbering about nothing before I was able to wet a line again
brad (fishoholic) was also out there with us and iced his first on the lake
another beauty fish!
i think that will be the wrap up to my ice season this year as steel head are starting to heat up
unless maybe i sneak out this saturday..
