How's the crappie bite?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

How's the crappie bite?

Post by Lurewasher »

I went out a few times in the early winter + did ok on the slabs , but haven't tryed them since. Got busy with other species I guess.
How's the crappie bite lately? No specific body of water wanted, just a general question. The perch were ON bigtime on the weekend !

Crappie have been slow for me... still trying to locate them reliably under the ice on one specific lake and usually end up chasing something else instead. April soft water is a different story, easier to find and I will be on em big time, like every other year. :D
