Longing for Open Water Walleye

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Longing for Open Water Walleye

Post by Lonnie »

I thought I would share some walleye memories from last summer. I hope this year is just as good!

Reels have been cleaned and spooled
Rods have been hung with care
Lures have been cleaned, sorted and sorted
Terminal tackle sorted and packed away

I may draw the ire of ice fishers but I'm hopping for warm March :o

Seen that IPilot this summer first hand make a difference putting fish over the gunnel. Mine will be installed early April. Still keeping the Fortrex so I'll have them interchangeable. Fortrex still wins in some applications for me.

Great video Lonnie!
