Haliburton Gold ON FIRE Today!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Haliburton Gold ON FIRE Today!

Post by Slayingm »

Managed to get out today to enjoy the beautiful weather and some awesome Walleye action in the Haliburton Highlands! Set minnow rigs and Blue Fox spoons and Rapala jigging Raps did the damage today as we iced a pile of nice Walleye including a 10lb+ monster that yours truly landed . Fish were all taken between 25 and 60 FOW and working within 5ft of bottom.

Get out and enjoy the great early season action and remember to be safe out there.

Ice is around 10" with a heavy layer of slush and snow on top. Hopefully this cold snap with harden it up.

Nice job man! That beast is something special.

Also, that's fun to have the occasional laker thrown in there too, eh?!
