More 20" bass

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

More 20" bass

Post by flyguy1 »

Was at our cottage on Charleston lake for a nice vacation this past weekend and had some decent bassin, until Saturday mid-day when this largie came out to play! the action went from fun to serious real quick, it taped out at 21.5" easily a new pb! I didn't weigh it so I won't make a guess, but it was heavy and had 3" of the tail of a bullhead sticking out of its belly someone was definitely being greedy. Also, I don't know what the sore on its mouth was from, it didn't look like someone else had hooked it but the lake sees enough pressure I wouldn't be surprised.

Looks like scar tissue from an earlier hook wound that has since healed. Nice fish!
