Stealth Mission: Feb 11 Crappie Hunt

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Stealth Mission: Feb 11 Crappie Hunt

Post by i got worms »

Riverdog, Wacky Jig and myself snuck out under the cover of darkness hoping to find some active crappies.

We knew the bite might be good when we got set up and our flashers started going off like the 4th of July! (Man am I ever glad I finally bought one of these! No more guessing!)

The bite was pretty steady and a respectable pile of fish were iced including some nice slabbers!

The stealth mission was a complete success and Wacky Jig took the cake with a real bruiser slab!

Great report guys!!

Nothing like a flasher, on the ice or on the bow of a boat

Thanks for the report and pics,

One thing I have discovered this year is that I am starting to get won over by these pan fish... if for nothing else, for their color!

Nice job Gents!
