Where to buy battery for Lowrance X67c?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Where to buy battery for Lowrance X67c?

Post by fatluke »

I seem to be having some battery issues with my finder and I was wondering if anyone could tell me the best place to pickup a new battery. I haven't been out looking yet, but I assume crappy tire would carry them.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Luke

My first choice would be Active Electronics (Merivale north of Baseline). They would likely have stock and the exact unit.

A lower cost option is Princess Auto but their stock levels vary greatly due to these being surplus. C-Tire - I doubt you'll find them there, other than inside their portable power packs.

The original is a 12V 7ah sealed. Don't get too hung up on the exact Ah rating, if you find a 10ah it will work fine - just the physical size may be different.

I might have an extra one floating around in the basement. I'll charge it up and see if it holds a charge. If it works it's your. If not it might still be better then the one you have now. Hopefully you haven't bought one yet.

Checked on that battery and it is fully charged. It runs my Vexilar just fine. It is a little smaller then your original battery (only6.5Ah) but PM me if you want it.

$25.00 is a good price for those batteries, if somebody has a place for cheaper ones let us know.

$20 and change at Total Battery.

Upgrade to 9Ah (same physical size) for $26 and change.

Now I'm not sure if the issue is my battery, my charger, or the battery gauge on my Lowrance. Trouble shooting tonight after work with the people at Total Battery.

Thanks for the suggestions fella's. I like to have options.

I just picked up a 9ah vexilar battery that fits right into the x67 batt slot from Canadian tire in Kingston. They had many in stock.

Damn and I just came from Belleville, which would have probably had them too.
How much was it at CT?

Well it was the CT on gardiners Rd, they have alot of stuff you wont find at other CT's. I did pay ALOT more then what you guys are listing here though. I think it was 69.99, he said i could prob find em cheaper, but i was there and wanted to go fishing!!! I figered this was guarenteed to be the right battery that will work well in the cold since it was made by Vex. I'd hate to try and save a few bucks only to have the batt freeze.
