Dr Depth

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Using it with my humminbird...

NOT easy... cause of the humminbird...

I need to spend some quality time figure it out to get a system going for this...

Worth it? Yes, from those who have used it and shown me what it can do, i think so...

I have been using Dr Depth for many years now and it is very important for my tournament fishing and contour mapping out structure I plan to fish. It is worth it if you plan to spend lots of time on a computer and recording data on the water. A small mid-lake hump about 625 sq feet will take about an hour to record and then another hour on the computer getting the contours just right. If you plan to load the contour map back into the unit I would recommend a Lowrance Sonar/GPS as the Dr Depth contour map will display just like any purchased chart you load in. I do most of my charts in 1 foot contours for the most detail.

Same data loaded into Lowrance as an .lcm map file.
