Orlando experience?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Orlando experience?

Post by Hookup »

Heading to Orlando Wednesday to Monday this week.

Anyone have any first or second hand knowledge of a good guide in the immediate Orlando area?

I'm looking for a morning fish only... Tooo hot otherwise...

Thx

Hi Hookup,
I used Captain Tim Fey was I was there in March. I was happy with the results. Tim offered full service from the hotel to the lake and back.

We caught and released 23 bass between 2-5 lbs in three hours. Tim was good with my two sons too. We had a half day but he was in no hurry to end it there if needed. They both caught their PB's.

When you book with someone make sure you are aware of extra charges for bait and hotel pick up Etc.

Good luck

Captain Jackson is great. Good chances of hooking in to 10+ fish. Apparently they've had a great summer so far. Good idea with only a morning fish. Most good guides will recommend only a half day, after the morning bite slows down it gets real hot out there.

Good luck.
