Port Hope

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Port Hope

Post by Steady Eddy »

I have checked a few other forums about the salmon run, It seems like it is starting. Anybody know if there is any truth to that ?

Also, anybody interested in car-pooling there ? The more the marrier. Tonight/tomorrow morning are almost ideal conditions ( key word : almost ).

Sorry Eddy, I was kinda kidding around.

Port Alberni is on Vancouver Island.

Good Luck with the Runs down in the Hope.

Yeah, kinda early for a run. Need a good rain in mid Sept. Then you've got the best chance. I usually have to decide between salmon or duck season which is usually 2nd last week in Sept.
