Pro Fisherman Caught Cheating

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Pro Fisherman Caught Cheating

Post by wolfe »

I just saw this, and wasn't sure if it had made the circuit here yet. If so, just disregard.

Pretty despicable, I'd say.

Disgusting!
His elaborate cheating scheme, small treble hooks and all only hints that he did that before, and perhaps he learned it from other cheaters.

its sad to see this.

but he got caught.

tons dont get caught and so cheat dont have to go far..some cheaters all over.

i am sher some did it in are local derbies to.

i saw some do it on ice derbies so.

weight is so easy but worst i saw is water and that is not easy to no..actualy you can had a few once in a fish and how can you say its been put in the fish its water and its a fish....

that is why i like lenght and guirth more then weight..so eay to make it heavyer and not able or cant get caught at all.

ho well.

where there is some $$$ some will try.

and its just so easy..some friends were saying they were a group in maniwaki they all got tegether and did it together like a few boats but only one will enter fish so got like 7 angler fishing for one...just trde the the fish frome boats..so easy and can be done...just have not to get caught.

sam wit the water thing.

It's easy to say is post release mortality rate is close to 100% and doing a number on the survival rate of that series. I know over here you can be charged for releasing dead fish, maybe he'll get punished after all.

My guess is that he's done it before, because it would seem stupid to offer up those fish for cleaning with the elaborate little weight device inside of them. So he probably got complacent that they would not be discovered based on past times he skated through.

Still, seems an awfully foolish risk. And a deplorable act all across the board. It's a shame for those who participate by the rules because of the negative attention and suspicion it casts over the tournaments.

they now need an XRAY machine at derbies..ahahah..funny but would work..xray machine on the scale something fast and effective..
same machine as the one at the airport that your brefcase goes true that way just put those bass in the box and past them tru take few sec.and there you go.

wen you start to get in those high $$ derbies they should get more security measures.

WHat bothers me is that 6-7+ pound fish are having treble hooks shoved down their throat! Not cool Chubby Chunks Chum-Chum!
