Grand Lake, Val-des-monts, Quebec

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Grand Lake, Val-des-monts, Quebec

Post by ELLIS »

My wife's family is renting a cottage on Grand Lake near Val-des-Monts Quebec, 40 minutes north of Ottawa. Does anyone here know if the fishing is any good and what species I would expect to find.

Can't seem to be able to find any information online ...can't even find a map of the lake?!?!!?!?

Thanks,

Bill

Try Lac Grand...it's in the QC afterall.

Also attached to the dreaded Lac Montagne, but don't ask about the boat launch. The image of the Candayland map still makes me chuckle.

Big deep lake with access to one or two other lakes, bet it has a little of everything but have never fished it.

Sure you will have lots of help soon enough.
