Renegade Bass Q 1- Big Rideau

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Renegade Bass Q 1- Big Rideau

Post by RJ »

Qualifier number one is in the books....overall tough fishing for Big Rideau Lake and that howling wind wreaked havoc all day!

We scraped and scrambled our way to a 22nd place finish...

That's quite a respectable finish given the high pressure and high winds.
Thanks for sharing the day via your report.

Excellent showing RJ despite the nasty conditions - I haven't fished Big Rideau a ton, but I do know that when the wind gets going from the W/SW it can get really brutal in a hurry in some spots.

Although tough, I think those "scramble" days can be among the most rewarding - a true test of your knowledge and experience.

Looking forward to hearing more as the season rolls on.
