Trailer stolen at Clay Banks

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Guys thanks for the notes on this one.. appreciated. Thought I would put up a pic of the boat now so you get an appreciation for where they are at... Good news is the tires on the van were replaced with new ones. Guy at the shop said without a doubt the tires were punctured using a sharp point object like a fillet knife...

One of the most disgusting posts I have read on this site in a long time. I use this launch a lot during the Musky season when I'm not on the Ottawa. If stealing a trailer isn't bad enough and it's pretty bad, slashing the tires would be the last straw for me. These jokers need to be brought out to the Mad on a 1-way fishing trip to explore the bottom of the river.

What is going on these days??? I thought my motor being stolen was bad but a trailer and when the vehicle is right there to boot.!!! BallZ of them for sure.

As for insurance on a boat....Not mandatory. If you want the liability exposure on your own shoulders so be it.
Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.

Sorry to hear..

I was at the Queenston ramp on the Niagara a few years back. I walked up the hill with another fisherman to find his trailer was gone and 3 of my windows were smashed..
The guy couldn't believe it was stolen. Trailer was locked to the ball, but the receiver was not locked.
It was a real difficult situation.

Good luck.

Hey guys , i just read this story in the Ottawa Sun about stolen boats in the Mississipi Lake area recently. They took the boats right off the trailers. I wonder if they are the same people that took the trailer.

Yeah someone on the lake here had their Seadoo stolen recently. Ugh, so many thieves out there.
