Some laker action

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Some laker action

Post by Mike P »

What a great day to be on the water today. Warm temps, light winds, no waves, and a little laker action.
Got on the water today with Hook-n-Shoot around 7:30am looking for some lakers. Didn't even have all the lines set up before the first fish was boated. Not a big fish, about two pounds, but things were looking good.
Next up on the rod was Mark hooking and landing a decent size laker and a new PB for himself.
We ended the day boating 14 with 4 of them being in the " nice " range! Sure nice to feel those head shakes again. Green spoons were the hot color today.
We had Mark's father out with us enjoying some laker fishing, nice to meet you, also nice to meet Brad today.
