Wellington Thursday

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Wellington Thursday

Post by bts »

Tenline and I decided to give the Browns a shot on Thursday. Headed out and it was a little rough but we figured it would calm down a bit later on. Well we trolled and we trolled and we trolled. Nothing!!!!! Not a hit!!!! We tried everything we had and depths from 3 feet to 12 feet and nothing. Tried different speeds as well but it wasn't meant to be. About 3 o'clock we decided to head out deeper and see if we couldn't hook into something. Gotta avoid the skunt surely. We were in about 20 feet and Kevin says fish on!!! Finally!!!!!! Got it to the boat and took and quick pic and released it. Dandy laker and the skunk was avoided

Nice one guys!
There are few problems in life which can not be solved with a well-placed, high-explosive projectile.
