Jeez we got 6 weeks left of this garbage at least!!!
Turkey season boys......and riding o plenty!
Ice out for me is Big Water Browns....and Crappie.
Just not keen on catfish or crappies myself....
Enjoy the turkey hunting during that time...and I do not know "dem dere hills" enough to hit the trout.
I like waiting till walleye opener....
Then I get excited about muskie....
Then, the most important opener of all......BASS!!!!!!
I have too many time constraints so riding on down to Lake O is not always a possibility....though those salmon, steelies and browns do make it look mighty tempting to do so...

It certainly can get rough as the bay is 30 miles long (or so). That said with the layout of the bay it's self there is usually sheltered area's to fish depending on the direction of the wind. Further up the trent river usually has sheltered spots, Pictoon bay - again depends on the winds.lapointeric wrote:I'm going to have a small 12' aluminum, with a 10hp, does the BOQ get choppy?
Where should I look for those early season walleye?
As for spots - hay bay, mouth of the Napanee, trent river, telegraph narrows - there are lots of places to fish.
Be safe and good luck.
