Ice on Crappy Bay

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Ice

Post by Seaweed »

It is definetly making ice today.... cold North Wind blowing.

There have been a few people out Baz. Play safe try to bring a friend or a rope at least and walk out the side up the side then walk gently out and drill as you go... good luck.

Hey, could anyone tell me the state of the ice as of tonight. Or how safe it will be tomorrow? I'm thinking of going Sunday. You think it will be safe by then just to walk out no worries?

Hello guys,
I too would like to know when it would be safe to go out. Could you guys let me know soon? I don't want to drive out, but just walk out with my equipment. Do you know how thick the ice will be by the end of the weekend? I'm just a little scared.

Thanks,
Shawn
