Hello November - November 1st Bass

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Hello November - November 1st Bass

Post by jig head »

Tip-up and I headed out on Sunday for some bass. The last few weekends were planned just perfect and we were lucky to get out on some of the nicer days to be out fishing this fall. All the spots had quality fish on them and they were biting whatever could get down to the bottom first at some points, when the fish were slow the drop-shot method could not be beat. The first hour of the morning was really slow, the bite really didn’t pick up until around noon. Here are some pictures, no retakes.

Here’s one of the days double-headers with a twist. Andrew netted both smallies and held them in the net while I chucked my jigging spoon back letting it settle on the bottom. Gave it a good quick rips and fish-on!

These two fish are from the same school, no browns in the pattern just a very light grey tint. It was a first for the both of us.

That sums up the day. Until next weekend….

Cheers…

Can't beat having the lake to yourself this time of year. Nice Fish boys.

Holy smokes -- you slayed them! They're all a good size, real solid looking smallies. That dark one is very unusual looking.

Just love your reports, guys. You sure know your stuff!

It was a blast having three fish hit the deck like that in under three minutes. When I popped the hooks out of the first two fish and Anthony said he was going for a triple fister  Amazing how fast slung the other one right beside his buddies. Can't wait to get back out :) Thanks guys and gals.....
