How big is this Musky ?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

How big is this Musky ?

Post by jimbob »

Hi
I caught this girl on my friends boat this weekend. No measuring tape on board!!! What would be some guestimates on the length, girth, & weight?
Gotta get a tape for my box this week! lol
Thanks
Jim

I would say that this fish probably is close to 43 inches long and would weigh Mid 20lb. range.
Nice fish.

Pictures are tricky, but looks like a safe 50" or really close to it, anyway.

I still want to know what that thrill is like! Reeling in something like that and holding it:
