This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Sitting on the side of the road? Like left out as garbage? Or left behind by accident? What a great find.

That's a great find!!

I have a few old reels similiar vintage and look, Record 1550's made in Sweden.

They were given to me by an old fella (my dad) who doesn't fish much anymore. He obviously wanted them to get used on the water, but I tried one for ice fishing and it didn't work too well. Now I use the old reels on old rods for decoration on my office walls...(fishing themed)

The ones you picked up would be great for that!!!
Check Ebay to make sure that none of them are rare... if not rare, keep em!!

I've got some old rods. reels, spoons and wooden plugs that used to be my dad's and my grandfather's, and some funky old signs and pictures. They will adorn the tiny back room at my camp, right after I get around to finishing it. I doubt any if the old stuff is worth much money.
