Brrrrrrr! What Will the Fish Think?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Wolfe Im always glad to see the temps drop this time of year as Im mainly a trout fisherman.
Woke up Sunday morn. and was suprised to see my first FROST on the ground  .

What did the fish think about the cooler waters........They slept in
By noon the sun warmed up the shallows and the fishn was the best its been all year yeilding my biggest rainbow this summer.

So I say bring the cold.

Fishing is just heating up Margie, can't wait to see the family getting into those beauty Tigers  . Good to hear the finger is doing better as well. The chilly mornings don't bother me as much as all the clothes that you have to bring only to be stripped back off a few hrs. later.

SMO5,

would love to see a pic of the big rainbow, if you got lucky enough to get one.

Rob,

I can't wait to get into the tigers either, but the last 2 outings have left me frustrated and befuddled!

Hey Wolfe, I just drove through your neck of the woods on my way back from Kansas City. I was there attending my 20th high school reunion. It was nice and warm and sunny every day I was there and I actually got out for a couple of hours fishing in a man made lake in my buddys back yard. It is over 50years old and very under fished. There are huge LM, SM. Massive cats and massive gars. I did manage a few nice LM and a couple of smallies. No pics though.
