Brrrrrrr! What Will the Fish Think?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Brrrrrrr! What Will the Fish Think?

Post by wolfe »

40s F last night and projected 30's F tonight. Yikes. It's technically still SUMMER!

I'm wondering how the fishing will be influenced. A shut down or a turn on. We've got high pressure here, so that's something to be considered.

What do you think?

I'll bet Joco, Wallyboss and the other frost lovers are rubbing their hands together with glee and getting that manic look in their eyes as they fondle their ice fishing gear.

Just 1 unimpressive largemouth for me yesterday and a handful of panfish for Ty. But I'm not crying uncle yet. I agree with RJ. I know there are some fat fall pigs right through the season. Only a few more outings left for me unfortunately, but I'll be looking to fill my dance card with some of those Wolfe Lake fatties I tuned in to this summer...this time over our holiday in October. Just hope they're willing to waltz!

Then there's the tiger musky hunt. Not going too well so far.

haha, thanks Walker. Aside from the odd tingling feeling in it once in a while, it's fine. I haven't grown scales or gills yet.
