2009 Bay of Quinte Fall Walleye Institute

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Heading to BOQ in 3 hrs, with another hockey dad.

Hoping for 2 good solid days on the Reach, if the wind will allow, and if not then planning 2nd day on Rideau for last muskie of season.

Still in the old Sylvan, so wave if you see us!

Good luck and safe fishing to all on the water this weekend.

Bananas

Post by tylercurt »

Well there were some Bananas in the boat this weekend and we still did well. My first open water walleye, almost 7 Lbs. Thanks to Gordon (and John), who put us on the fish and made sure we landed it, Sheldon and Scott who supported us. (Sorry about the dig). Was a great weekend and for a NOVICE, I learned a crap load. First they taught us the theory and then we put it to use on the water. I fully recommend taking any training you can take. Learning from a Professional and using their methods and ideas sure improves your outings. With the Walleye Institute it was a chance for me to learn from knowledgeable individuals and use what they practice to improve my own techniques. I had a great weekend and I would recommend it to everyone who has a thirst for knowledge. Meeting new friends from a few Boards and trading info was also a big gain.
