Does anybody know if there are any walleye lakes near Vernon Ontario ?

I'll be at a cottage in the area in early June and would love to fish some walleye.

Thanks.

There are no lakes around there, head to the St.lawrence for eyes, the rideau has them too.

R_L,

Walleye are not native to any of the lakes in that area, rather they are stocked by the MNR. I would give the Kempville office a shout to see if they have the current walleye stocking info for Zone 18, or contact info to whoever does have the information.

If I was in that area in early June and wanted some serious walleye fishing, I'd head for the Bay of Quinte which is only a hop and a skip away from Verona.
