Great job and congrats on releasing her—killing the fish wouldn't have made that memory any more real or credible.

I have received that puzzled look more than once for releasing a nice fish...the "are you nuts" look. I won't taint your post with negativity, I will just say that the concept of catch & release isn't a difficult one to grasp and thanks to you somebody else might catch their personal best too.

Great job on the catch and release!

It always makes me wonder where some folks minds are at especially when you can tell you have just caught a large breeder fish and that letting it go is the right thing to do. Thier children were there and I'm glad you made a good example for them.
