Now Boatless, I feel like I'm in Seaweeds shoes....

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

 Every guy who ever got rid of his Legend lived to regret it.

What were you thinking of upgrading to?

I already regret it, but I know it's short term. Just selling while the fire's hot so to speak :!:

Hopefully something along the lines of the Legend Excalibur :!: :!:

But I plan on looking at them all, Princecraft, Tracker, Lund etc!

WIG, remember the thread a while back where everyone posted pic's of their boats? Remember the chap who posted the WADERS?! Well, there's your cheap and readily available alternative 'til something better comes along!

Seriously, good luck and hope you find the perfect fit! Keep us posted...

Ya that was a mistake suggesting you are thinking of selling your boat...I mentioned the same thing to a cousin of mine. I still have me boat but everytime I see him he asked if I am ready to sell, which I am not unless you know I win the lotto or sudden get a big pay raise.

Good luck in your search WIG.

Well I know someone willing to provide a boat if you provide the fishing spots (especially in/around Buchkams/Constance)...as long as you don't mind a leaky little 14ft/15HP motor.
I just need at least another day to recover from the weekend's outing. The wind may have been chilly but as my legs found out the sun was definitely strong enough to burn.

I agree...... I love my Legend ( Ok...it's actually my fathers I get the best of both worlds...all the joy, no expense :) ).

I guess somebody else did too, they tried to steal the Merc Outboard and couldn't get the job done, but did vandalize it enuff that we can't take it out until it gets fixed. Problem is every marina is very busy, will be 2-3 weeks until it gets fixed.....there goes all the spring walleye fishing:(
If I ever catch them...they will be in a world of hurt!

WIG, give us your price point and your specs, and we'll put 813 hawk-talkers to work in the search.

I would expect by now you have a pretty good feel for what you want in a boat. Are you shopping new or previously enjoyed?

M.T. Livewell

Food for thought, unless the boat sells before hand, maybe you rent Seaweed's 'spare' boat for the weekend.

Let me know if you need some links to sites.... just keep typing into Google...... "Boat For Sale"

Actually pretty sweet deals on some of the Bass Angling sites in the Classified Sections.

PS: The Seaweed 1 is almost sold..... next Wednesday... three potential people will be bidding on her at Petrie.... I hope there is no fight over her.
