Busted at Clayton (2004 post)

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Busted at Clayton (2004 post)

Post by saskie »

No fish, not even a bite...
Busted my (new) rod trying to free a snag...
Boat still leaks although it's at least usable...

Somebody tell me why I'm actually looking forward to doing this again tomorrow?

Too bad about the rod.

Just remember a bad on the water is better than a good day at the office.

You'll get 'em next time.

I broke a rod myself this spring. When I pushed in the tractor clutch, it snapped my Zebco Quantum tour edition spinning rod. Crack - garbage.

I would have sent it in under warentee, but it was my own stupidity. All my gear goes in the tractors front end loader now.

2008.

Manufactures warentees are really good these days. With a reciept, they'll pretty much take anything back. Except at Lebarons.
