This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Great Post!!!

Well, I am always telling my two boys that I am going to get them up before the sun comes up to hit the lake. However, we seem to rarely make it on the water much before noon. Thus High Noon was born.

I found that when I first started using the net and forums, I had so many different user names and couldn't keep them straight Since a good memory is not my strong suit, I decided to go with one simple and easily remembered name for all forums. Like matcolecat, my name comes from kids: Rybren = RYan and BRENdan.

Well for me, Fishing is healing.....Fishing gets me out of the house sometimes, and really it's the only thing that can make me ignore my poor health to get out there and do it......Fishing is a way of life......

Self-explanatory i guess?

Thrasher, when people ask I try to come up with some cool/tough guy kind of story, but really it's just my last name.

Yes we sell honey in a few stores from Brockville to Kingston and a bit further, in our own store, and in barrels to other honey packers, but do not rent out bees for pollination, we do some apicultural (bee related) consulting as well. We have had some losses, but not nearly as large as some other beekeepers, and no one really knows the cause of the extraordinarily large losses in the past few years, but yes pesticides are possible.

Feel free to stop in for a chat, if you are in the area, just contact me ahead of time to make sure I am around and not in a bee yard at this time of year. We provide free tours (kind of like a public relations deal for bees to make sure people know they are great little, mainly misunderstood critters.)
