How many times has my lure come flying at my face when i' msnagged and pull too hard....

Very sad.

One day my dad got a rebel fasttrac minnow stuck in a tree, when i pulled it came free but the long bill caused it to sail thru the air like a jet plane.

We both ducked but it hit him and the one set of trebles lodged in his arm.

Ended up leaving the lake and going to the local med. center.

When he we walked in with a 6 inch rebel hanging from his arm they asked what they could help him with

Moral of the story is that I've been wearing sunglasse ever since.
Had a zara spook hit me in the lense once when i pulled it free.

This is a very sad event. Like the chances of being hit by lightning.

I always try to get a lure to release so the trajectory takes it to person in the other end of the boat

Worse that has happened personally; a hula popper decided to let go of the lilly pads and embed itself in my right calf, past the barb, but not way into the flesh. Needlenose pliars, a scream, and a quick jerk, solved that problem.

Always carry a first aid kit. Never know when you'll need a shot of rum.
