Salmon Fishing with Skooter
Hit Lake Ontario at Oakville with Skooter at 5am. We had some showers but nothing to get too concerned about. Action started fast and we had a steady pick of salmon and rainbows till around 10:15 am when we pulled lines because we had to be back for lunch. All in all a great morning. 23 fish on and 18 landed. Skooter has most of the pics.. I will post some more when I get them.
The sun even managed to show itself for a bit!
A few more pics.

Beautiful.......Never caught a Salmon in my life.....
My dad is in Gaspe fishing for salmon now......lucky guy.......
Maybe next year I go......
Do you eat the Salmon you catch or is their issues with the pollution?
I always hear people talking about not eating the ones that go up the rivers in Toronto and Port Hope and that area....
I guess they aren't atlantic salmon and they are dying? I know nothing about salmon.............haha.......
Do atlantics even go up the rivers? Wait, atlantics are the ones that don't die out every few years.....they live for much longer, like a trout?
:S
Thanks for the report, sorry i'm a bit slow........ haha
Wait are those even Atlantics..........I can't tell the diff......Are they Chinook or Atlantic or what? lol......I'm fishing challenged

I don't wanna jump all over Salmon's post, ......so I'll file the "linguistics" here, ....and just keep it short and sweet.... Well, ...short anyways.....
It's been pretty slim pickin's the last little while, .....so it's nice to have a day like that, ......
Everything was firing, ....riggers, ...dipsey's, ...spoons, ....meat and flies....
Here's a few more pics for ya.....
You can always count on a good time when Salmon's aboard, ......and, ....I guess the fish probably didn't hurt either....
Awsome day Bud, ....let's do 'er again, ....soon.....
