Wolfe I am sorry for your loss, I went through this last year and it was very difficult, the vet actually came to the house and put my dog Ray down while I held him and he just quietly went to sleep in my arms. It just killed me. He was only 12. It never gets easy but at least you have the memories that will last a lifetime.

So sorry to hear your sad news! Even though its been 7 years since we had to put down our 13 year old yellow labrador Jesse, its still very easy to remember the heart wrenching feelings we experienced then. Solace then came from fond memories of the 13 wonderful years we did have with Jesse. So too, it does now.

Thanks again, everyone. For the kind words and for the expressions of understanding as so many of you have experienced the heartache yourselves.
I know from past experience, that time heals. The kids seem to be doing a little better each day. That is the way of the world -- moving on. A hard lesson, but one we repeat over and over again.
Thank you so much again for sharing your thoughts and thoughtfulness. It means a lot.
W.

Wolf, soo sorry to hear about your loss, it's never easy, I still expect my Jami to greet me at the door after almost a year. The Salerno family wishes you all the best and we hope you can ride this storm out and we hope the kids aren't too bad off. Losing a family member is always tough, the only advice I can give is talk, remember, grieve and we're all here for you. Joe.

I am so sorry to hear about the family's sudden loss Wolfe. Our thoughts are with you.
Time does heal and then so does the crashing of the new puppy rounding the corner into the wall as she skids across the floor. Took our family.... mainly me .... a long time to even consider another one.
All the best and if you need anything drop me a line.

Sorry to hear about your loss. It has been nice seeing pictures of you fishing with your FOUR boys. The pain will go away, it just takes time. It's been 31/2 years since my "Old Dog" and best friend has been gone and it still hurts, especially when I'm doing some of the things we did together.and he's not there Hurry and get a a new friend for the family.
