RUMBLE in Rockland 2007

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I doubt it'd be too smart to be in a kayak anywhere near a blast off with 30 boats some with 200+hp engines zooming around.

We do require a livewell to participate too... after all dead fish are something we plan to avoid.

I tought it was all about the camaraderie??????

John if you don't want any Kayaks put it in the rules!!!! He had said that he was going to leave after everybody else and that he was going to have a livewell, it shows that you haven't seen is Kayak yet cause if Joco says he'll have a livewell I believe him. So I think that he was SMART for backing out.

It's all about common sense... safety should be the obvious concern. No ?

If we have to state everything in the rules we'd have about 50 pages of do's and dont's..

You're right this is supposed to be about having fun but if it means possible safety issues then of something must be said.

Am i the only one who see's that ? seriously stand back and take a look kayaks have their place but not during a busy tournament blast off.

Lets not get our knickers in a knot here boys.....if anyone wants to enter with a Kayak.....that will be fine....joco's a long time friend of mine , and we'' accommodate him or any other kayaker for that matter who wants to enter and have some fun. John's is simply looking out for their safety....nothing wrong with that....if necessary....the kayakers will leave earlier than the rest....to avoid any saftey issues...the idea is to have fun....not to put anyone's safety at risk....
