Big Rideau Report

Post by jsdx »

Went out to Big Rideau this afternoon for a few hours. Short trip but we didn't have to wait very long for some fish to hit.

My son hit a nice smallmouth not 20 minutes into the trip.

I got some largemouth but as I was reminded time and time again, "his big fish was bigger than mine". Despite the taunting, I still bought the kid ice cream afterwards and he made it safely home :)

Fish were active and hit spinner baits (largemouth). The smallmouth were on dragged jigs/twisters. We fished mostly around Murphys Point Provincial Park and caught both SM and LM bass.
