kayak rigging......for some fishing.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

WOW, Joco!!! That is so impressive!! Your kayak is stacked :D I love the camera holder and the custom swivel rod holders. Creativity when rigging is my problem but it's definitely not yours! Excellent job, be sure to post that on KFS and show them what's possible with a sit-in kayak. 8)

Very Nice.

I had a chance to use my anchor trolley and drift chute this week. It worked great. Normally I have a faster drift than YakFisher but with the chute deployed I was slower :)

Did you put in you bilge pump yet? How are you powering your fish finder? Are you using a 12 volt gel cell or the old AA battery approach? Any luck finding a rudder yet? Trailhead used to have WS rudders in stock. My only complaint was they wanted 200 bucks for the thing. Too many questions I know..

For night fishing I've attached an LED lantern from MEC to the top of my flag pole with a single hose clamp. Simple and cheap.

YakFisher and I are going out Saturday afternoon. You're welcome to join us.

That's a sweet setup. Fishing from a Kayak looks like it would be alot of fun! Good idea to put on a flag... those Kayaks can be hard to see when you're in a boat (especially blue ones in the waves).

Cheers.
