Knots

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Knots

Post by CCLad »

I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but it's a great - animated - refrence on how to tie many of the various fishing knots. Check it out:

Wicked cool site. I have just added it to my list of fishing favourites. Thanks for sharing it with us. I have always used the improved clinch knot, however, I have recently learned the rapala knot. I will probably use the rapala knot a lot this year seeing as I use rapalas and other cranks a lot. Anyother favourite knots out there?

Hmmm, very nice. I think I'll consider modifying my current Knot resource link to this one. Thanks for sharing.

I always wondered how some of these knots were made. I wish I could download this info and retain the info and keep it for when I need it. I usually forget how to make these knots just shortly after I have seen how to do them, plus the ole eyes aren't what they use to be. Very cool site to say the lease.

High Noon I fish PP almost exclusively so I use a Palomar knot 99% of the time. If you are fishing braid you should consider it.

Not all of the animations are coming up for me, but my connection is slow tonight.

The same site looks like it has a good nautical knots section as well:

Everyone must have a favourite and I use the Bowline the most:
