Watcha Get This Christmas?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Watcha Get This Christmas?

Post by wolfe »

So, was Santa in a fishing frame of mind this Christmas? Just wondering what kind of angling loot (or whatever else) folks got over the holidays...

I got more lures and plastics than I'll ever use, at least for several years. Of course the ongoing cottage construction is a gift that keeps on giving...!!

I haven't been on site as much as usual this past month, so sorry if some of you have already posted your goodies. I probably missed a lot.

I know Bowzog got a GPS from Mrs. SlushyClaus and that Bear got his digital camera (finally)!!! Now you just have to catch some fish, Bear... 8)

I got a lot of holiday pay cuz I worked non stop.. still working non stop, I should just sleep there.

No fishing stuff for me this Xmas, besides a novelty Simpsons fishing lure. I used my holiday pay to order a custom electric guitar though.

I got an ice making machine for XMas but it broke just before the New Year. I just got it back from repairs now. Hopefully it will be good for the rest of the winter. I'll send it back in mid to late April for a tuneup for next Year.

Well you can all blame the lack of ice on what Santa brought me!

I got a Jiffy Model 30 and one of those new-fangled VPG ice fishing fish-finders!!

God I'm SO going crazy not being able to get out there!!!!!

I bought myself a Lowrance 334c iGPS, FINDER/GPS, Colour. man it is sweet. It is cool to actually see the fish in real time coming up to where they are feeding.

Cool finder/gps

When I get my "real" boat in 1.5 years, that is the combo I will get for it.

Right on bro!!! We're gonna be in two-stroke heaven fighting over who gets to core the holes *LOL*

Can't wait!! I'm hoping there will be enough ice by Sunday...but I'm not sure given the weather today... but let's keep in touch!

Wow, some pretty good stuff dropped under the tree, I'd say. Sympathies to those with new ice fishing gear, though -- especially the jiffy augers! Your day will come, I'm sure.

Welcome to aguynamedchad, by the way!

I got an Authentic hand signed Canucks Jersey by Jovo himself! Sure...he plays for phoenix now, but the autograph of a 3 time Olympic Canadian Mens Hockey Team member and Gold Medal winner is something speacial! Not to mention one of the more memorable players to ever adorn the Sacred Cloth! (Canucks Jersey) lol
