important notice to negative thinking ice anglers..

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Yes sir. Yipppeeeee!

This little cold snap is gonna make some great ice. I suspect the local hard water sites will look like Canada Day has been moved up this year....Lots of people....Lots of excitement. Keep in mind though folks, when going out there, don't just look at the thinkness of the ice, look at the number of people occupying a particular area of hard water as well. A lot of anglers concentrated in one spot puts a lot of pressure on the ice. Just keep that in mind and be safe.

Cheers, I look forward to some reports.

Diet??

Post by Bondo »

Bobber, was that a crack about my weight  lol, seriously though, Bobber is right. I have had the misfortune of pulling several drowning victims out of the Ottawa over the years from winter misadventure from snowmobile accidents to ice fishing mishaps. Lets get out there and catch some fish but be careful folks.

Only thing iced over are the edges on Otisco; and the only thing that ice is holding up are the Canadians (GEESE, that is).

We've got a rip-roarin' south wind here tonight. Sounds like the house is going to rip off its foundation. So I imagine we're in for the brief warm up they're forecasting before it turns colder again on Sat / Sun.

Be safe all you ice hounds...boy am I dying for some ice fishing reports, but don't literally die for ice fishing, hmm?
